(CNN) -- Former President George W. Bush is writing a book focusing on defining decisions he's made in his personal and political life, a publishing house announced Thursday.

The book, tentatively titled "Decision Points," is to be published in fall 2010, according to the Crown Publishing Group. Financial terms weren't disclosed.

The book will focus on about 12 important decisions made by the former president. Topics will include his decision to run for president, his choice of his closest advisers, the September 11 terrorist attacks, the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, his response to Hurricane Katrina, the forming of his stem cell research policy, his decision to quit drinking, how he found faith and his relationships with his father, mother, siblings and wife.

"I am spending time on the book every day," Bush was quoted saying in a news release. "My goal is to bring the reader inside the Oval Office for the most consequential moments of my personal and political life.

"I look forward to painting a vivid picture of the information I had, the principles I followed, and the decisions I made," Bush said.

Oh yes, thanks for the correction.

The Bush Critics were not heard for the past 8 years. That is what is truly wrong with the Conservative movement. Great clarification.

I am curious to hear now for the very first time what your concerns about President Bush not being Conservative are .

I have absolutely no idea because I have been so profoundly successful in crushing dissent on this question.

Please regale me. I want to know the deficiencies on a conservative scorecard. Its really a shame that the voices of his critics have been so thoroughly stifled. Did you just get out of Gitmo or were you held at some other secret prison?

Please shed your cloak of isolation and type freely now.

The Bush Critics were not heard for the past 8 years.

Every time anyone breathed a hint of a complaint about his big government agenda, his huge deficits, his expanding budgets and his open borders policies, his shills would swarm the threads and shriek that first Gore and then Kerry could win as a result. Well, those arguments don't fly anymore. Bush has left the White House.

Tell me, when will it be permissible to speak of him without adulation?

Bush had four years of a republican Congress and what did he push? NCLB, prescription drugs, amnesty, etc.

Plus Bush made sure that the GOP wouldn't have a viable Presidential candidate in his VP slot. Obama should send Bush a thank you note for that.

Bush himself admitted that he gave up his free market beliefs to sign that monstrosity tarp bill last September - however, the one issue I take with him is that seeing the way the country was running after November of 2006 election, he should have quietly asked Cheney to step down to bring on a VEEP that could run effectively in 2008...THAT was the one decision that hurt this country and gave us Barack Hussein Obummer!
