I doubt it. She may have had a problem with a vessel that was a time bomb. She could have just fell in a way that caused shearing from the jolt.
No. Read up on it. They actually have a name for this, something like, “Talk and Die.” There is an injury and depending on level, blood is seeping into cavity that houses brain - blood puts pressure on the brain; hence, the reason she got the terrible headache one hour later. If the bleed is very intense, it takes very little time for the brain to be squeezed to death basically and deprived of oxygen, which is what supposedly happened here.
My mom died age 44 similar. We disconnected after 2 days.
My girlfriend age 43 who suffered with brain cancer for 12 years just passed away on Sunday after a heroic struggle. Often a patient at Lenox Hill over the years. Her varied treatments are too long to list.
The brain is amazing. What it can and cant endure is just beyond modern science.
It almost happened to my brother. He got a head bump from falling and I don’t know how many days later was getting headaches that just wouldn’t go away—started slurring his speech and not making any sense. Dad rushed him to the hospital and they did emergency surgery on his head/brain. It’s amazing that he survived—also considering that he was in extremely poor physical health from alcoholism at the time.

My other one was in the rec yard in a prison. An inmate was doing curls facing the wall. He put the weights down and felt that there was someone behind him. He turned and punched the guy (shouldn't be that close behind someone in prison).
The guy who got punched fell back and hit his head on the asphalt. Later he had a headache. We took him to the institution clinic. The nurse on duty said, two aspirin and sick call in the morning.
By 5 am he was in an ambulance on his way to the outside hospital. Died in the operating room.
Wikipedia says he still is and the children were raised Catholic. I don't know if Natasha was.
But this is surprising if you know who Ian Paisley was (political leader of Northern Ireland's Protestant hardliners):
His interest in acting and decision to become an actor was also influenced by Ian Paisley whose church Neeson would sneak into. Oh I am sorry for your losses. Had an aunt who died form brain cancer. Yes the people who endure this are heroes, as arer the ones who care for them and have to watch.

Tragic accident. Closed head injuries can be very unpredictable, and once bleeding is involved the injury can really go anywhere. The injured person can, initially, feel like there’s nothing wrong, or that they just got knocked on the noggin and that it’s “no big deal.” But inside the skull some bad things are happening.

A “lucid interval”, where it seems that nothing is wrong, is indicative of an epidural hematoma. I heard a neurologist on CBS News explain that it’s not unusual for the injured person to experience no symptoms for a while after hitting their head.

Comparing my moms sudden death 20 years ago to Reginas long 12 year stuggle and death just a few days ago has been troubling me. I guess I have wished my mom had an extra 12 years however watching Regina the past 6 months as she was dying was something I would wish on no one.
Grief sucks no matter how you look at it. Both Mom and Regina have each in their own ways taught me about life and its importance. I am grateful to have had them both as long as I did no matter how short the time was.

A diagnosis of subdural hematoma, 3 weeks of hospitalization, a drill hole to drain blood from the skull, 4+ weeks in a nursing home for rehab and our family feels VERY LUCKY to have him back in reasonable shape. I was told that the older you are the more your brain shrinks so that there is more danger in even minor head trauma. This story really strikes home, beautiful and vigorous then brain death. My prayers to the family!
