All of the people should be executed with piano wire around their neck (Barney Frank Agrees?)

All of the people should be executed with piano wire around their neck

By Michelle Malkin  •  March 18, 2009 03:30 PM

Update: Allah’s got video. Ditto what Allah says about Frank: “What a wretch.”

I noted in the public flogging liveblogging below that Rep. Barney Frank rather flippantly dismissed the death threats against AIG executives.

Edward Liddy read this threat, after which Frank smirked, “I am not persuaded:”

All of the people should be executed with piano wire around their neck.

I ahbor the AIG bailouts. I abhor the Hypocrites of High Indignation who enabled them.

But when someone reads a threat like that, you do not shrug your shoulders and respond, as Frank did, that “Everyone here” gets those threats.

I repeat: The AIG employees and their families are not public officials. They do not deserve to be subjects of a witch hunt.

The thug Democrats are overreaching on this, and it is going to backfire.

The Hill reports:

House Financial Service Committee Chairman Barney Frank (D-Mass.) wants the names of AIG employees who refuse to return at least some of their bonuses, and lawmakers appear split on the request.

“I’m now asking you to send us the names of people receiving the bonuses who are not paying them back,” Frank told AIG Chairman and CEO Edward Liddy during a Wednesday hearing.

Frank said if he did not receive the names he would move to ask his committee to vote to subpoena the names.

Liddy said that he “very much” wants to comply with Frank’s request, but said he feared for the employees’ safety.

“I would hope it doesn’t take a subpoena,” he said. “I’m just really concerned about the safety of our people.”

Liddy read from one threat: “‘All of the people should be executed with piano wire around their neck,’” he said.

Some Senate Republicans sympathized with Liddy’s concerns about potentially exposing the executives to public harm.

“My gut reaction is that there’s so much rage, I don’t want any violence taking place,” said Sen. Sam Brownback (R-Kan.). “I’ve got to be a little tempered in my response. But I do think they should either return the money or be fired.”

Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), a member of the Senate Banking Committee, said public anger should be focused instead on the Treasury Department, which knew about the bonuses. “The administration could have easily dealt with this,” Corker said.

Doesn't Barney Frank realize that soon the people making pronouncements of this type of a threat will soon find out that he himself and Dodd, Pelosi, Reid were the ones responsible for all these fininancial problems being foisted upon taxpayers?

Will he shrug his shoulders when they come to lynch him and his fellow travelers?

I think then he will perceive it as a threat.

What does he care if the AIG executives are offed? It will be less witnesses against him.

Barney Frank is a criminal who should be arrested and prosecuted for his complicity in the home mortgage fiasco.

Let us not forget an important, historical point:

Hitler's Brownshirts were GAY!

Not every gay person is violent or cruel, but some of the most violently cruel people on Earth have been Gay!

What about Senate Banking committee Chairman Christopher Dodd who just confessed that he was "responsible for adding the bonus loophole into the stimulus package that permitted AIG and other companies that received bailout funds to pay bonuses?"

Is it all right with Barney Frank if he is executed with piano wire around his neck?

And weren’t the homosexuals so happy to be so important?

Like they are in this country now that they are a protected class.

Of course, Hitler was eventually instructed to kill all the homosexual brownshirts so he did.

The sad truth is: Any democrat (or liberal) can say just about anything they want about any conservative and get away with it. Remember what Alec Baldwin said about Henry Hyde during the impeachment of Clinton -- said he and his family should be dragged out of their houses and stoned to death.

Let a conservative say anything remotely similar and he or she will be pilloried without end.

I am one conservative who is getting pretty tired of this.

I suspect that if someone started a “Lynch Barney Frank” website he wouldn’t be so cavalier about safety.

He’s an idiot. And so are those who are threatening AIG execs. Idiots who don’t want to know the truth and won’t be persuaded by it.

Dodd and the Obamists are the ones who gave them the bonus in the first place.

This is all just theater.

These guys are frauds, every last one of them.

Heard this testimony on Rush today. The CEO rightly told idiot nonsavant Bawney Fwrank about these graphically specific threats and Bawney just went right on as if he didn’t even hear the threats these employees were getting. Fwrank’s lack of concern was chilling, and shows what a dim bulb he is in general too.

Lead Story

The Kabuki Theater of AIG Outrage

By Michelle Malkin  •  March 18, 2009 05:02 AM

My syndicated column today looks at the award-winning performances of Washington hypocrites outraged by the AIG entitlement beast they nurtured through four massive bailout infusions. For added comic relief, be sure to read through the entire transcript of Robert Gibbs’ press briefing yesterday. (It’s been sanitized. Just add 25 “ums” during every exchange on AIG and you will ensure accuracy.) This morning, AIG president Edward Liddy will take the hot-seat during a congressional hearing so that his enablers can wag their fingers at him while letting themselves off the hook again. One observer expects “outright talk of nationalization.” The House Financial Services subcommittee hearing begins at 10am Eastern.

As that flogging ritual takes place, hark! Tiny Tim Geithner hears the distant sounds of yonder bus wheels thumping.

On with the show…

All the world’s a stage, wrote Shakespeare, and in the world of Washington, the curtains have opened on the most elaborate farce of the year. Welcome, taxpayers, to the Kabuki Theater of AIG Outrage – where D.C.’s histrionic enablers of taxpayer-funded corporate bailouts compete for Best Performance of Hypocritical Indignation.

"This is all just theater. These guys are frauds, every last one of them."

Exactly right. I am embarrassed by our government and hope I live to see them all die politically by their own swords and each and every one personally feel what they have done unto others.
