WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama said Wednesday no one in his administration created the mess at insurance giant AIG, including the much-maligned executive bonuses, but that "the buck stops with me" to fix it. Standing on the White House lawn as he prepared to go to California, Obama vigorously defended his embattled Treasury secretary, Timothy Geithner.
Some have speculated that Geithner's job could be in danger over his handling of the millions of dollars in bonuses that American International Group Inc., is giving its executives — even in the midst of a massive federal bailout.
"There has never been a secretary of the treasury, except maybe Alexander Hamilton, right after the Revolutionary War, who's had to deal with the multiplicity of issues that Secretary Geithner is having to deal with, all at the same time," said Obama, with Geithner standing at his right elbow.
"And, you know, he is doing so with intelligence and diligence. Nobody's working harder than this guy," Obama said

Some people think Obama is open about his plans, but watch how he always says two opposites in order to lull the moderates and conceal his real agenda.
He is now talking about how we should have controlled compensation when the economy was good, years before the government takeover. He totally plans to smash America into a socialist state.

How about keeping 'Air Obama' on the ground, keeping your @ss in the White House & start learning something about what a president really does!! Start some 'on the job training' lessons.

Actually, the teleprompter practices lying. And the teleprompter was the one defending Geithner.
We have to keep clear that,despite his moving lips, the lies are being fed by Mr. Teleprompter.
It's a good way to do it. For a while I had a narcissistic business partner. Afterward, I heard he had spent a lot of time practising his delivery in front of a mirror when he was a college broadcaster.
It generally does, but it can be a bloody route from the lies to the truth. It generally isn't, but then again the media generally isn't virtually sleeping with the liar, sharing his goals and approving of his methods.
Time will tell.
