You'll be happy to know Americans For Fair Taxation is pushing for concurrent legislation to repeal the 16th Amendment by supporting passage of House Joint Resolution 16.
It would be still be impossible for a federal income tax to be enforced with The Fair Tax abolishing the IRS even if HJR 16 were not passed concurrently.

You don't think the Dept. of the Treasury would create an "Office of Revenue Collection and Control" to levy the new income taxes on "the rich"? Maybe you just have more faith than I do in the system.
