Been talking about this for years. Replacing the warhead with a tungsten core, covered concrete, or depleted uranium would still create a big boom. It travels at 4km/second and releases energy on impact of 8 MJ/kg. If you have a heavy warhead, say depleted uranium, the energy released would be concentrated and approximate a small nuclear warhead.
