LJ, if you read my last reply, I didn't say it was "without doubt." I said it was likely, based on my own experience, and you're certainly entitled to your own opinion, based on your experience.
The problem is, that while the announcement doesn't prove, without a doubt, that Obama was born in Hawaii, there's no proof that he was born elsewhere.
I don't think anyone can accuse me of being an Obama supporter -- his policies are anathema to everything I believe in, and I think his life story -- which he used to campaign on, lacking any meaningful experience for the job -- is full of holes and deliberate obfuscation.
On the other hand, though, as someone who's always believed that facts are essential to truth, and truth has to be maintained above all else (lest we sink to the level of what we oppose), I really have a problem with people making statements -- as fact -- for which no one has presented any actual proof, and then insulting people who have a different opinion. (And I'm not referring to you).
There’s no proof he was born anywhere. We just know at some point in time (not sure which point) he was born somewhere. It’d be nice to find out.
