It’s part of the “all articles children might touch have to be tested for lead and that stuff that starts with phth” rule. I understand it’s been temporarily suspended, but it’s only a matter of time.

Ahhh....thank you both for the answer.

I guess when it comes to children’s products especially, I always wondered about things being sold that were dangerous/had been recalled and any liability. I’m a furniture painter and recently did a wooden toybox built in the 50’s. Frankly, I wasn’t sure about the lid and any special safety hinges it might now require. I suppose ANY items, except maybe clothes, could be at issue, but if it happens, will sure put a damper on my summer...I’m always in the mood for yard sailing ;)
