It is the nature of science to engage in debate. For an individual to make assertions and then refuse to defend them before those who actively point out the errors associated with those assertions is in diametric opposition to the scientific method and scholarship. I can only conclude those who do not wish to defend their positions are lying or willfully ignorant.
