YES!!!! It is the only way to hold our ground and to have something left with which to build upon.

So you would vote for a RINO like Snowe, Specter, Collins, McCain, or Graham over a non-Republican conservative?

Yes. There is a very good reason for it. First, I assume you're saying that there is a chance of a Democrat being more conservative than any of these pitiful RINOS. That isn't going to happen and even if it does, these "conservative" Democrats are hypocrites and end up voting for people like Nancy Pelosi for Speaker and Harry Reid for Majority Leader.

Please trust me on this. I know first hand how the system works. I was in the midst for many, many years. It's a numbers game.

I've worked with so-called "conservative" Democrats but over the years I've lost all respect for them. They know full well they grant power to the liberal Democrats. Listen to what I'm going to say now: The ONLY time a "conservative Democrat has ANY value is when they are in the minority. Then they might be able to give a vote that would be valuable to our cause but as long as they're in the majority, they're useless to our cause as they only increase the Democrat majority and when Democrats are in the majority, they control the whole agenda.

They elect the leaders, they elect committee chairs which control all legislation.

While RINOS are a pain in the neck, they still count toward a Republican majority and at this point, we don't have the luxury of being able to throw them overboard.

We need every one of them. I would fight like heck to have them defeated in a primary, however.

One thing I can say for sure...I would hold my nose and vote for any one of them before I would vote for Obama.

My personal opinion is that once the primaries are done and there are 2 candidates, voting for a third party candidate is the same as not voting. Too much is at stake.
