I’ve been waiting for you to make that argument. To argue that all followers of Islam support in some form or fashion the actions of Muslim fantics is like saying all Catholics are like Ted Kennedy, or that all Baptists are like Fred Phelps or that all Episcopalians are like Gene Robinson because they “look the other way” at the outragous behavior of these men, or are not more active in denouncing them or because they continue to financially support the denominations to which these men belong.
Catholics (Christians, by extention) once thought that the world would be better off without Jews, whom they tortured without mercy during the Inquisition in an attemtp to force them to convert. When you say you want to rid the world of all Muslims, do you include the Muslims serving in the U.S. Armed Forces, the FBI, the CIA and other organizations working to protect this country?
Well, for one thing, you’re being disingenuous. Many, MANY Christians DO forcefully speak out against Phelps, Kennedy, Robinson, et al. Google.
But back up a step. You’re actually implying moral equivalence between the Christians you mentioned (Kennedy, Robinson, Phelps), and the Mohammedan butchers who BEHEAD and MURDER and BOMB?
As though an Episcopalian failing to condemn Gene Robinson for being queer is EQUIVALENT to the OVERWHELMING SILENCE OF THE AMERICAN MUSLIM COMMUNITY AFTER THE BUTCHERY OF 9-11???
Oh excuse me, they DID speak up — at CAIR’s behest — because they CLAIMED THEY WERE BEING DISCRIMINATED AGAINST.
My goodness. That claim of moral equivalency makes you either stupid or sick.
Or a pedophile-worshipper yourself.
I can’t tell for sure.
Are you an agnostic?
