Its official. President Barack Obama will hold his town hall meeting Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Building 12.
And its going to be free and open to the public, that is for those people who want to spend St. Patricks Day morning waiting on line for tickets. Im hearing there will be 2,000 total tickets, including probably a couple of hundred already spoken for by public officials and people who worked on the Obama campaign.
Heres the deal: Theyll be distributing tickets starting tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the OC Fair and Event Center, 88 Fair Drive in Costa Mesa. White House officials say to enter at Gate 1 or 10 and park in Lot A. Theyre saying tickets will be limited but havent put a number on how many will be available. Parking will cost $5 at the fairgrounds.
As you can imagine, security is going to be extremely tight so theyre telling people not to bring bags and to limit their personal items. So travel light. Also, dont spend any time making signs or banners. You wont be allowed to bring them on to the site. Obama will be staying in the area overnight because hell be touring the Edison International Vehicle Electrics plant in Pomona on Thursday. That event isnt going to be open. RTHANLS
You mean, see their King..
Did you catch Rush this morning/afternoon...talked about what Pres__ent's teleprompter told him (BO) to say, and how he stands by his invite to debate BO's teleprompter...had me LMAO at work...
What do you have to do, to NOT get a ticket? Just not show up?
Is there going to be a gathering to protest? I live right next to the fairgrounds.
