WASHINGTON (AP) Neither Superman nor the Republican Party has to worry about Rush Limbaugh not if Dick Cheney is right.
The former vice president says he disagrees with those who say the radio talk-show host is "kryptonite" for the GOP.
That's the assessment of former Bush administration speechwriter David Frum, who contends that Limbaugh drives voters away from the Republican Party.
Cheney calls Limbaugh "a good friend" who does great work and serves an important purpose.

What evidence do you have for that counterfactual claim? I notice that you didn’t deny my statement that he co-presided over the biggest increase in domestic big government since FDR.
Ron Paul and Andrew Napolitano. I believe in Republicans who oppose big government. How about you?
Paul doesn’t want to cut defense spending. He wants to cut military spending geared to polcing the world....but heh if you think we can continue to afford to be nanny state to the world, that’s your right. Fiscal realities might intrude, however.
Yeah, that smile is the best “code” and all the right people know what it means.
Don’t suppose your poster will be up for long,...? But I’m glad that I got to read it.
(actually, I believe that Messiah2008® is several levels down in the hierarchy that’s actually running the WH)
I’m curious, who do you think is running the WH? Frankly I thought no one was. :)
Lynn Cheney and Sarah would be awesome, too. Lynn is so solid!
Lynn has really kicked a couple of media types in the teeth on previous occassions. I loved those interviews where the press would into the cage like liontamer with a USDA necklace on. Unfortunately, I heard some of her book interviews last year and she is SOOOO done with the DC circuit.
When the Teleprompter eventually runs the republic into the ground I’m thinking Wyoming and Alaska might be one of the places to be.
I like the use of a teleprompter to symbolize The O, but my favorite would be a bobble-head with the head swinging back and forth. Every time he speaks, his head wags back and forth like a bobble-head.
A real man in an effete time,
I’m not completely sold on the teleprompter; I think it has a bit more “gravitas” than O, himself.
I, actually, have tuned the man himself out. I hear some of his stuff on the radio. We do not have television and it is unlikely that I would view a video or post of him speaking or giving a speech.
Many have suggested Soros, but I think that’s a bit too tin-foil hat-ish. IMHO, it’s the Chicago gang that hired him as their face man—Emmanuel, Axelrod, Fahrakahn, Ayres, et.al.
