I just happend to find the exchange between he and Bill Maher on CNN years back which is worth the read. IMHO he cleaned the floor with Maher.

Thank you for posting the link to that exchange.

Ron Silver was really in a league of his own in terms of intellect and brain-power, compared to the poseurs in Hollywood and NYC.

I can't think of any actor, even Ronald Reagan, with the incisive mind that Ron Silver had.

I was very, very sorry to hear that he had passed.

May his family be comforted and his memory be blessed.
