If things get real ugly, water will be the biggest problem for most. those of us living in rural areas have wells that can be used even if power fails. But for most city people, water is not available if the power stops and the water towers are drained.

It will become a warlord society with armed gangs taking what they need in large cities anyway. So, let's hope that it never gets to that point. But, the more dependent the population becomes on large urban areas, the greater the impact that anarchy will have on the land.

The country folk will survive.
