If home cooked stuff were such a hazard half of the Midwest would have died from pies and hot dishes eaten at church dinners. Hundreds have been sickened recently in this area from salmonella tainted alfalfa sprouts that were commercial grown and certified ORGANIC.

Those sprouts were grown in a facility that inspectors reported was one of the CLEANEST they had seen.
