It is far easier to attain socialism with a crashing economy than it is in prosperous times. Economic crashes brought on some other famous Leaders in the past. But it will not be easy to get out this time. Where are you going to run to? China?

Given the man's ideological outlook, he is doing the right thing.

I think Obama is a radical and he clearly campaigned as such but I suspect he is frustrated with the criticism he is getting now. I think he would prefer to work fulltime on his re-election and “legacy” but his handlers are still pushing him to do as much damage as possible as early as possible. Obama is a narcissist, I believe, and this is really probably causing him inner turmoil. I think that’s a large part of why he is so incoherent sans teleprompter.

Yeah really. All of us knew that more than a year ago.

"obama knows EXACTLY what he is doing."
I think he knows exactly what he'd LIKE to do, but his problems with even getting his own cabinet put together screams ineptness.
As I said on another thread, he's like someone who can't swim and and floundering at the deep end of the pool. Problem is, he's willing take the rest of us down with him.

Sums it up nicely!
IMHO what we are seeing in the Whitehouse is far worse than just a repeat of the Jimmy Carter years

No one with a brain ever doubted Obama’s administration would be incompetent. The question was, would it be “Clueless Blonde” incompetent or “The Three Stooges” incompetent.

‘Do you think they know what they’re doing?’
If it weren’t such a serious matter, I’d laugh at the irony.

Interesting article and good summation:
Which brings us to the heart of the matter: the doubts about Obama himself. His famous eloquence is wearing thin through daily exposure and because his actions are often disconnected from his words. His lack of administrative experience is showing.
His promises and policies contradict each other often enough that evidence of hypocrisy is ceasing to be news. Remember the pledges about bipartisanship and high ethics? They're so last year.
The beat goes on. Last week, Obama brazenly gave a speech about earmark reform just after he quietly signed a $410 billion spending bill that had about 9,000 earmarks in it. He denounced Bush's habit of disregarding pieces of laws he didn't like, so-called signing statements, then issued one himself.
And in an absolute jaw-dropper, he told business leaders, "I don't like the idea of spending more government money, nor am I interested in expanding government's role."
No wonder Americans are confused. Our President is, too.

> obama knows EXACTLY what he is doing. He and his wifey want this country to fail.
Obama knows PRECISELY what he is doing: he is doing his Masters’ bidding, and they mean the West in general and America in specific no good.
He is a war-time President, but for the OTHER SIDE.
His acolytes, sycophants and followers are useful idiots who do not know what they are doing. That is why they are idiots. They are dangerous anyway, and that is why they are useful.
I believe that there is nothing benign about Barack Obama.

if I had to pick betweenObama and Hillary, I would pick Obama. He is incompetent, lazy, and incapable of an independent thought. Hillary would be like Lenin on Steroids. Abot the only thing he has done right is send her on a series of no win situations in backwater S***holes. Watch her get stuck holding the bag on the Cuba/Venezuela mess.
Correction-I am sure the ballerina, his chief of staff, came up with the plan to neutralize her.

Yeah, or it’s payback....for something.
Am curious as to what social culture (one that is successful) they hope to copy from other than capitalism.

"Now let's impeach this dud and find someone who knows how to run this country."
Let's see:
H! is doing a bangup job at State with Iran, Russia, GB, Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico, etc.
Pelosi?
Biden?
Reid?
Kerry?
Edwards?
etc.
