I think you’re right. Somebody or a group of people will talk to Roberts and tell him to just leave it alone. And he will leave it alone if he knows what’s good for him, his wife, and his children. That secret service agent assigned to him could turn into an assassin at the drop of a hat.

Sad isn’t it, that the very governmental bodies, constitutionally ordered to protect our rights won’t. This can not be laid at the feet of Obama, he is just smart enough to take advantage of the situation.
That’s the kind of stuff I thought we only saw in movies. I guess the movies got it from the top brass in the government.
I’m just thinking off the top of my head - but maybe Bush and Obama cut a deal with each other. Bush will keep the SCOTUS off his back over the birth certificate and Obama will keep the Lie-bur-als from trying to convict Bush on war crimes. I think the pressure is on Obama to go forward with this because the Lie-bur-als want some kind of revenge over Slick Willy’s impeachment.
