Judge: Beatty Should Be Released From Jail Monday

DETROIT - Folding sheets, towels and other linen while in jail is a far cry from being the chief of staff of a big-city mayor.

But former Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick's ex-aide and one-time lover testified Friday that she "eagerly participated" in the chores at the Wayne County Jail -- not to pass the time, but because she understood that jail officials would chop time off her sentence for obstruction of justice.

Circuit Judge Timothy Kenny sided with Beatty, ordering her to be released on Monday instead of April 15. Kenny said jail officials were wrong to deny her a reduced sentence, opposing his Jan 6 order that she was eligible for the work program credits and despite the fact most other inmates in her ward received the maximum time allowable...

If peasants commit felonies in Michigan, they go to PRISON, not jail.

They might get time off their MULTI-YEAR sentences, but they don't serve a couple of months for PERJURY.

However, once again, the tax-paying, law-abiding rubes have been had by their masters in government.

Try getting the same deal as Beatty and Kwame Fitzpatrick, peasant rube.

The prosecutor and the judge will be laughing at you while they're p*ssing in your face, just prior to sending you to The Big House for a number of years of Hard Time.
