Today, however, he (Rush) has morphed into a monster.
REPUBLICANS, at least those close to the paranoid fringe, sometimes allege a great liberal conspiracy out to do them in. If thats the case, consider this for a left-wing plot: Democrats artfully maneuver to make the voice and symbol of the GOP an immensely overweight, bullying 58-year-old disc jockey with a criminal record and a history of drug problems who flunked out of college.
This is a man whose ratings are down by 6 million listeners from their peak, who has been divorced three times, and who was once detained by drug enforcement agents for attempting to bring in illegal Viagra from the Dominican Republic. He is best known for cruelly making fun of the homeless ("are they room temperature yet?"), a prominent actor suffering from Parkinson's Disease, and most recently, for saying in a time of national crisis, that he wants President Obama to fail.
By the way, nearly two-thirds of Americans have an unfavorable view of - as you have guessed by now - Rush Hudson Limbaugh III. The bad news for Republicans is that he does seem to be the de facto leader of their party. Quite a drooling tirade. The author must have had spittle all over his monitor by the time this was completed.
So.. he flew down south.. with some guys.. scored some Viagra.. and brought it back.
Does that about cover it?
You must have deliberately misinterpreted what I wrote.
His doctor had sent HIS prescription back to the US with Rush, not realizing that the DEA would search the luggage on a private plane. It was the doctors Viagra.
SUUUURE it was.
“immensely overweight”
He took off a bunch of weight. Has he put it back on?
“bullying”
To them, a bully is anyone who rebuts leftist nonsense.
“58-year-old”
Ummm...isn’t that age discrimination? I thought the left was against that sort of thing.
“criminal record”
What crimes has Limbaugh been convicted of?
“history of drug problems”
Ah, the false moral equivalence. Anyone capable of understanding already gets the difference between accidental addiction by a doctor and being a recreational doper.
“flunked out of college”
Did he? Really? Or did he drop out?
“has been divorced three times”
Nobody’s perfect.
“once detained by drug enforcement agents”
For nothing, apparently, since no charges ensued.
This is tiresomely typical of the way the left lies...all the time, and all the time, and all the time, until you’re just so sick of it you could scream.
