“The question was: What about the kids?”
I would greatly prefer not to leave my kids living in communism. hence my quote to make the other poor bastards die instead of us dying.
That way our kids have a better place.
I understand what you are saying.
And when I said “you” in my earlier post it was the generic “you” not you/driftdiver.
I didn’t make that clear.
Also, we are talking about the most extreme of situations. I hope and pray that we can dig ourselves out of this with just the ballot box.
But I don’t think we should send the message to the power mongers that we aren’t up to fighting, real fighting—that would be a big mistake.
I don’t want anybody to die. But death comes to everyone, no matter what. Freedom comes to a relative few—that’s you and me. It’s worth risking it all to keep it around for our loved ones.
I have two beautiful children and a wife. I don’t want to leave them.
But this husband and father of two won’t live under the thumb of another man—not a chance.
Americanism is in my bones—I can’t live any other way but wide-open spaces, free to do my own thing, free from a-holes that would hold me down.
I want the same things for my children. I get crazy inside when I think about them living any way but as free Americans.
If they crack down, and the call goes out, you know where I’ll be.
