Actually if you go to the Fact Check page, you'll see that the fact-checkers actually went to the certification, not the other way around. They say they were allowed to examine it, and photograph it. Of course their photos were pi$$ poor, and they do not even allege that they were allowed to say, make a copy of it, or take it with them for more detailed examination, taking of forensic quality photos, etc, etc. The only thing that could really be checked would be the seal, and even the photos they did take show a seal that just doesn't look correct.

If that COLB thing was real and not bogus why not leave it with "factcheck."org?

Hell, Obama could order from Hawaii as many computer printout COLBs he wanted to for every day of the week from here to eternity for 10 bucks a piece. Pass them out like candy to all the news agencies.

Heck, it's not like it's a work of art, a Mona Lisa that's one of a kind...or is it? Obama's behavior is of a criminal.

Better yet, he could order them, and have them sent directly to various interested groups. Both his friends and his enemies, plus those that "need to know", like the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, the Chiefs of the branches of the military, and Commanders of the various Unified and Specified Commands such as Northern Command, Central Command and Strategic Command. That way their would be no question that the document was authentic. Better yet, have them send certified copies of the orginal "Certificate of Live Birth", since it contains more relevant information than the "Certification".
