I think everybody misunderstood my point.

In medicine, the stem cell goal is to grow specific tissues or specific organs.

Doctors do not want to grow an entire human body and then harvest a tiny part of it for productive use.

Agriculturally, I’m thinking of a scene like this...

A greenhouse with thousands and thousands of apples, just apples, growing in, or attached to, a little dish of nutrients.

No plant, no roots, no leaves.

Just thousands and thousands of perfect apples.
