This is pretty shocking. Today, President Obama said, "if we are keeping focused on all the fundamentally sound aspects of our economy, all the outstanding companies, workers, all the innovation, and dynamism in this country, then we're going to get through this. And I'm very confident about that." Video below.
It seems like ages ago, but when John McCain came out in September and said the "fundamentals of the economy are strong" candidate Obama responded furiously, in what became a defining moment of the campaign.
Back then, McCain's said, "And my opponents may disagree, but those fundamentals -- the American worker and their innovation, their entrepreneurship, the small business, those are the fundamentals of America, and I think they're strong."

Shocking? That a pol would lie to get ahead? Smear his honorable opponent then coopt said opponent’s message after you destroy him? Why is this shocking. It’s SOP in the world of politics and especially so in the Dem world.

When McCain, Bush and others said the same thing they were condemned as being so out of touch and insensitive to the needs of the poor, the jobless, etc. How sickening. The Demo who beat Rep Chris Shays in the neighboring district ran ads with the voices of Bush, McCain, and Shays saying the fundamentals of our economy are sound. They were portrayed as being divorced from reality and this was used as an excuse to throw Republicans out. Now their god BHO says the same thing essentially. Where is the outrage??
For more than 2 years the Dems have been screaming at what a crisis we’re in. Now they are surprised the American people are down in the dumps??
According to them (0bamma), the economy is only sound when the Commies are in charge and taking everything from us.

It’s just NOW occuring to the media et al that Obama is a pathological liar? lol...we live in a deluded and blinded world...

And then he blames Bush for TARP I, when Obama voted FOR it, and at the time bragged that he worked to get it passed (remember his “I can walk and chew gum” assessment?).
Though that same week he said he wouldn’t be trying to convince Republicans because “I’m not good at that.”
The Press gave him pass after pass after pass.
