This is, I think, the only possible explanation. I'm expecting this guy will be watched like a hawk and if he's as out of control as one would imagine, he'll be picked up and end up doing his time anyway.
If he doesn't run into a stray bullet somehow, hunting accident or something.

Yeah, it should have gone to trial, and a prosecutor with more than 12 IQ points would have done so. That whore of a prosecutor has now guaranteed more babies are going to suffer the same fate.
