I fear this will come to pass. What happens to conservatives that are stuck in deep Blue states like me in NJ? Either we will “immigrate” to the free states or some Blue states will split up. For example, large swaths of NJ are very conservative (Morris, Warren, and Sussex County for example). Unfortunately, our votes are rendered useless by massive ACORN/Union fraud in Newark and Camden. Perhaps we can isolate those urban areas.

in your theoretical situation, I would hope large areas of rural lib states that are contiguous with free states and believe in freedom would elect to be free and join those free states.
