He's an advocate of using small specialized schools to radicalize the young. Be VERY wary of Obama's supposed support of charter schools. Ayers sees them as potential radicalization labs. That's what he was doing with the Maoist Klonsky at University of Illinois at Chicago's Small School's Workshop.
Klonsky and Ayers had an office in a small building just west of the Loop. That's where Obama got his mail while he was CEO of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge.

That’s what I thought when I saw he was in favor of more charter schools. He tempered it with merit pay, and also not mentioning, for now, having a national curriculum, which he is in favor of.
