This is a fairly pedestrian legal distinction:

Well Philo buddy, I know you are reading this, and I have to hand it to you, in the end you gave an example to go by in this whole “sin and restitution” thing.

You were guilty of the sins of arrogance, being judgmental and being prideful, among a few others, all of which damages us as a whole.
