The third largest school district in Alaska approved a new policy last month that will allow students to choose their own “gender identity.”
How can parents allow this?
More important how can they allow there children to go to a school that is obviuosly run by idiots?
allowing children to CHOOSE what sex they are? Does Biology no longer exist?Does Science nolonger exist in the schools?
You do not choose your sex. Your sex is determined long before you come flying out of the chute.
If the children can choose their sex then what willstop the teachers from doing the same? You want a male teacher deciding he is really, no shit, a female and needs to use the womens restrooms....
How can this district even be considered a an education system? If the people that run it are morons then what do parents expect the children to be by the time the get out of school?

Complete madness. The official leftist line is that a person can choose his/her/its/whatever “gender identity” at will, and also change it at will.
This is why I say that liberalism is a mental disorder.
A person’s sex (not gender) is in the genes! This can not be changed!

In related news......all math, science, english and American history classes will be dropped to make room for sensitivity classes to understand how 4 out of 100 should be treated.....(God help us)

My children are finishing the school year and it’s either home school or Christian school from here on out. This is most definitely the straw that broke the camels back.
Why can’t schools just have a blanket non-harassment policy? I don’t think any child (who is behaving properly) ahould have to go to school and worry about bullies.
Folks, you’re all lumping “gender” and “sex” under one category when they are really quite distinct. Sex is indeed biological; it’s determined by your hormone balance, primary and secondary sex characteristics, and other physiological functions. Gender, on the other hand, are those culturally stereotypical attributes that we assign to sexes, i.e. it is masculine to play football and feminine to cook. Thus, an individual can be a man but identify his behavior as being feminine, thus the concept of “transgender” was born. Of course, what defines gender behaviors is very culturally defined and thus highly subjective. I find such categories to be quite limiting and beside the point that they’re human beings who will live their lives in the way they see fit.
