Here's a place every Freeper should have in their bookmarks/favorites. http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/vote_menu_111_1.htm.

That's the page where all the roll call votes in the Senate are posted online.

This amendment was S.A.615, "Ensign Amdt. No. 615; To strike the restrictions on the District of Columbia Opportunity Scholarship Program." The vote was vote # 94.

Going to that page, we see Crapo (R-ID), Murkowski (R-AK), Snowe (R-ME) and Specter (R-PA) voted against educating children and in favor of the Teachers' Unions. Johanns (R-NE) and Kennedy (D-MA) are the only Senators shown "Not Voting." Also note that Byrd (D-WV), and Warner (D-VA) voted for the amendment (to keep the program), and should be commended for this vote. Other than that, it was a party line vote, Dems agains, Republicans for. The final vote was 39 for the amendment, 58 against.
