If he's going to commit suicide why not just do it alone and go away, what's with taking innocent lives of people who are struggling to make ends meet also?

Wonder what Obama will say about this? (sarc) I think I already know what's coming.

I have always thought someone intent on committing murder/suicide should do the suicide part first.

The Demonazis are jumping for joy at this perceived opportunity for more gun control. They sure as hell don’t care about the people who were murdered. After all, they were just a bunch of dumb southern rednecks. </sarcasm>

...and he made it to Reliable metal and that's where the incident ended.”

This is a tragedy no matter what.

The wording here makes me wonder if he was stopped by a responsible gun owner at Reliable.

It seems like if it ended any other way, that they would have said how.

This is purely speculation.

We need to pray.

Reliable metal products in Geneva had a big layoff on Feb. 17.

Can’t find out if it’s a Union Plant, or not.

Instead of allowing the Dems to start screaming about gun control how about an even louder scream that if a victim or someone in the area had had a gun on them, maybe the gunman could have been stopped?

From CNN:

"The shooter ended up at the Reliable Metal Products plant in Geneva, where he fired a 30-round burst, injuring the town's police chief, authorities said."

Here it comes.

Death toll is now 12.

Shooter just laid off recently. Shot Girlfriend and her mother in Kinston, Al and burned down the house. Then drove through the town of Samson, Al shooting at cars, houses, people, stores, etc. Stopped at one house, not sure if he knew the family, and killed all 4 people in the house. then drove to geneva, Al to his former place of employment and killed himself.

NO word yet on if there are injuries, other casualties etc.

per channel 12 WSFA Montgomery, AL

The perp's employment status was a post in the comment section. Still, he could be a victim of Obama's policies.

The left write that the surge in weapons purchases are in response to the terrible economic conditions coming (Obama policy).

Obama may be pushing alot more to the edge.

Yes. People should be empowered, not neutered.

Given that it was in southern Alabama, some may have. But it's hard to stop a guy who doesn't stay put with a handgun, especially if he's armed with a long gun.

Of course not that long ago, there were have been plenty of long guns in racks in the back of pick ups.

When the "Tower Shooter" at UT did his thing, those long guns, 30-30s, M1 Carbines, and various bolt actions, came out of those racks and helped hold down the carnage. But even those weren't enough to overcome his advantages of position, concealment and cover although they did slow him down.

One person I heard speak, on the steps of the Texas Capital only blocks from the tower, back in '94 (remember what happened that year?) related retrieving his M1 Carbine from his vehicle, and taking a post on a balcony of the the library. The librarian didn't object to his gun, but "students were not allowed on the balcony", until she thought better of that and let him out there. A policeman came along, and rather than shooting him or arresting him, as he likely would today, he merely said "Good spot, I'll find my own" and moved on. Both he and the policemen returned fire, helping to make the former Marine keep his head down, except when actually shooting.
