Started in Jan of 2006 and is been going ever since..
There is all sorts of things hitting the stratosphere at over mach 1 at any given time, some boom, some don’t.

If you’re talking about those radio waves that were detected, you’re talking about a completely different phenomenon. Radio waves cannot produce compression of the atmosphere to the point of hearing a loud noise (by the ears of humans) over a wide area. It can’t happen.
So, you’re talking about two different things. Now, each one may be interesting in its own right, but the one is not producing the other...
