The prosecutor doesn’t seem to be inclined to plea bargaining right now. And that’s good, because there should be an example set that if one does this sort of thing, then you’re going to land up in the slammer, no matter who your daddy is... LOL...
As far as those other “terms” that you laid out, I don’t think they would be enforceable and all that you’re really left with is a “prison sentence” to serve — and that’s it...
I’m pretty well sure that you’re not going to be able to enforce any voting restriction after he’s completed his sentence. And I don’t think running for office will be restricted either. I think both can be declared unconstitutional, if one were to adjudicate it.
Jail time is the best and simplest way to handle it. They’ll be an “education” for him and for others in “jail time”...
