I lived in no CA 10 years so I’m familiar with those towns. I agree with you that there are too few conservatives in the state. The people who attended the rally in Orange County were also from L. A. County, Ventura County, San Bernardino County, Riverside County, San Diego County and more; many of the folks who attended are Democrats who are mad that our taxes have been increased. Orange County is quickly slipping into the Democratic side; I believe in less than 10 years it will be D, as all the newly registered voters are young people who are Ds. The reason the rally was in southern CA is because J&K are on a radio station in L. A. so obviously their audience is in so CA. Perhaps someone could get something similar started in northern CA. J&K said if they had known the crowd would be so large, they would have had it in The Staple Center in L. A.

It’s okay for you to poo-poo the size of the crowd, but my guess is that you don’t live in so CA so you’re naturally not impressed by anything that occurs down here. Yeah, I know this comment is a bit nasty, but so be it.

On the contrary, I have lived in San Francisco and the Bay Area for 22 years now, and I’m still a resident of San Francisco.

I’ve seen the population change since the 1980’s here around the Bay and in Southern California and around Sacramento. I don’t like to poo-poo things, being a bit on the Quixotic side (as a San Francisco Republican has to be), but still, one has to be realistic. Maybe theres a new mood around that will amount to something, I certainly hope there is, but I still doubt that much will change.
