You said — “Sieze assets owned by those countries.”

That would eventually lead to a world war. In order to seize assets of the magnitude that this guy is saying that foreign countries now own (of all our companies and infrastructure), it would require us to “wall off” the U.S. from the rest of the world and “go it on our own” in all aspect — from materials to manufacturing. There would be fines, penalties (from world trade organizations) and the refusal to sell us materials or buy anything that we made. Eventually all that would break down and result in a world war...

Well, we've had two of those-- that is, if you only count the hot ones with lots of battles and ending with occupations and trials...and we got better at it each time. As long as we win the sumb1+ch, we...win.

I'm OK with that.

Put another way: I personally do not accept international extortion. To me, that's an act of war and requires retaliation.
