Unfortunately, I can tell you from firsthand experience that you are wrong on everything above, with the exception of the paperwork--and years ago, I'm willing to bet that the paperwork was, at best, slipshod.
From stories I have heard, back in the days when abortions were illegal it was a big deal to find the doctor and then get an appointment. It was all very hush-hush but the girl and the mother both knew exactly what the options were and what the goal might be. For her to claim she had no idea of that option is hard to believe.
Let’s say she was blindsided by her first abortion, the second abortion was a surprise too?
