Yea but I’m not sure it was an honest assessment, at the Obama appearance there was no clapping at all when he came on stage, which means that the military apparently were ordered ‘at attention’ which means they could not applaud or not ‘not applaud’. Now maybe this was done to avoid any possible tepid response that Obama probably would’ve received on entry.
I think you are correct. No doubt some disrespect to the “office of the President” might have happened, otherwise.
