This I know for a fact to be true, a quote from the interview:
Trisha: The Morgellons Research Foundation has over 13,561 reported families. Not persons, but families. Oklahoma State University has over 20,000 families registered. About 600 people have reported their disease to me, and some have reported to the CDC. My source at CDC told me that this is the most reported disease entity since the reports of HIV/AIDS. And yet so many people have not reported out of fear. The CDC wants to keep it quiet because they are afraid of mass hysteria and mass pandemonium.

with bugs coming out of his body.
Almost all the articles state this but give no information. Would think this is easiest thing to document.

Aside from the bug factor, a lot of these symptoms sounds quite similar to yeast overgrowth issues. How about using Oil of Oregano, Nystatin, or Caprylic Acid?

Very, very good observations. I take the Oregano and Caprylic, I do think the main aspect of this is fungal in nature, but still, something very unsual about it. Right now I'm holding my own, kind of on an upswing, but I go up and down, maybe the prayers from all the freepers that have written me pm's are the reason. Thank you for your suggestions.

The reaction of the medical establishment to Morgellons seems similar to its reaction to chronic fatigue syndrome: we do not know what it is, so it cannot exist.

Now he has lesions all over his legs, moving into his abdomen with bugs coming out of his body. So, what “bugs” did they notice? Beetles? Ants? Aliens?

On E medicine morgellons is classified under “Delusions of parasitosis”

I said this before on another post, Trisha, the person interviewed in this article literally had doctors walk out of her office when this seen "all kinds of things exiting" the body of her patients, she invited a group of them there to try to start a network of doctors who will help, I believe all of them but one walked out, immediately, scared to death. You've gotta remember, there are only a handfull of real parasitologists in this country, and they have very little training. The idea is America really doesn't have a parasite issue, besides, the doctors are human too, and believe me, it is scary, beyond scary, it really goes more into the horror arena.
Body Bugs Video
The bugs are secondary invaders, they are feeding on us, our bodies have some GMO fungal infection that is like bug cat-nip, best I can say in so little time.

I’m guessing this ran the day after March 31 last year.

Trish in this interview says what I have been saying for years.
I took slides to my friend who is an entomologist and we found fungal hyphae, alternarium, and pathogenic funguses on the slides. These are not things that grow in humans. They are organisms that grow in plants. So the human bodies of these sufferers are becoming like soil and that does that attract? Fungus, mold and parasites.
I am very encouraged to hear her say this, many on our forums have come black with bloodwork that stated what they found was plant material in origin. Again, I believe this is from our GMO Pharming, an unintended infectious agent which I outlined on the other thread, anyway, good things are happening. I have never been so hopeful as I am now.

“...reaching pandemic status.”
I stopped reading here. I can’t trust whatever the rest of the article says. If it was anything close to a pandemic - say a true epidemic - most people would know somebody with it. Or at least heard of someone with it.

When they don’t know what it its, they will more often than not decide it’s psychological and prescribe the latest expensive “miracle” drug that usually only makes a person feel worse.
Docs can be very narrow minded. I had a hernia and the doc refused to believe it because, as he said, “Women just don’t get hernias.”
He believed me after he cut me open and repaired it.
I don’t have much faith in doctors. To me, the only thing most of them are good for is writing a prescription so you can get your antibiotics or whatever you need legally.

If you read my other thread on this many Freepers reported they know people with this disease, I have this disease. And most are in hiding, this disease is hideous, nobody tells others they have it? We wont even report to folks asking us to. Dr. Schwartz spoke at a new and emerging disease conference and suggested treatment centers at various places in the US, having to disclose Morgellons in real estate transactions, being barred from staying in hotels (and his recommendations aren't bad, and I'm a sufferer). We are not stupid.
Just today on one of the many forums I am on the subject is the "EMERGENCY HEALTH POWERS ACT" where they are doing just that, setting up treatment centers, and more ominous things having to do with disease, our people are scared sir, and rightly so, the disease is terrifying, doctors stand on the other side of the room and refuse to look at is, the numbers reporting in as new cases on our forums are tremendous, and so on. The CDC's is stuyding this, as are many private groups (due to the CDC's in-action).
