Once again, the First Frump dresses inappropriately for the occasion. The other women are in formal wear, and the First Frump's in a buttoned-up cardigan sweater, knee length prairie skirt and flat-heeled boots. Charming. Oh, and I'm going with the scarab beetle and its dung for one of the too-many necklaces.

Just a bit of a defense for Mrs. Obama those other women are opera singers and as one of the breed (although not doing much anymore), we always go formal whenever we sing.

To be fair, that second picture is from another event where she wore the same dress.

I don't know why she wore it again; it was ugly enough the first time. I guess she figured the bling dressed the outfit up enough for the Kennedy Center.
