I doubt very much Jack or Bobby would claim ownership of Teddy.
This is just about as big a travesty as anything I could imagine.
The Kennedy Profile in Courage Award, at least Jack Kennedy served in W.W. II and actively sought combat duty, he was a lot of things but “Coward” wasn't one of them.
Teddy on the other hand is and always will be a “Coward” upholding it's highest and finest traditions.
To think someone like this who all but “Murdered” Mary Jo Kopechne is “Honored” for anything defies logic.
Bush, when he was President, should have turned the FBI on Kennedy and had him charged with violating Mary Jo Koepchne’s Civil Rights like they do a number other cases. If they had the “Bastard” would be rotting in a prison somewhere rather than being held up like he was someone worthy of respect.

I'm not completely convinced he didn't have some help "murdering" Mary Jo Kopechne. I don't think the powers that be wanted to assassinate a third Kennedy, but they sure could damage him in other ways to intimidate him.

I'd say the odds are just as good that he was set up as that he murdered her. I've read enough not to be convinced EITHER way. However, his pro-abortion stance is enough that he should be very scared of dying. :(
