My take is that he’s a nancy boy that is playing to become the new “house slave” for the old media, kind of like George Will.

Am I the only one who finds this cover 1984 scary? I feel like I just woke up in the twighlight zone.

How Orwellian to have a magazine call for the censorship of someone else in the media.

Newsweek, you are a tool of the left and deserve the declining circulation that you have.

Going solely by the numbers, Newsweek readers (2.6 million copies) are more of a "cult" than Dittoheads (20 million listeners).

But then, Limbaugh listeners are smarter and better informed. Besides that, most copies of Newsweek tend to languish in dentists' offices, the better to provide distraction from the pain of impending root canals.

Meanwhile Rush’s popularity is at an all time high. Newsweek is a trash tabloid that will be out of business in a year.

Rush is in good company. Newsweek did the same thing with using unauthorized photos of Gov Palin to try and score editorial points. One that was at least a decade old and was taken dyring some fishing trip where she had zero makeup or any other thing on and had a rifle slung across her shoulder to make her look about as stereotypically redneck as anyone and another when they used the most closeup and tight shot ever seen on a photo to the point that you could literally count each pore and see in depth a scar on her chin.

It’s clear theyre using all 3 photos to try and make a point. Now, they can certainly do that as a magazine, but any pretense they had of being an objective newsweekly is gone. They’re now just a better funded version of The Nation.

The democrat party's NY Slimes contribution to Rahm Emanuel's propaganda campaign: (By the way, Rush still has the most beautiful ties)

Silly me I thought the tanking stock market was the biggest story of last week. What was I thinking? /s

Unlike all their other targets, the MSM are dealing with someone who has 15 hours a week to respond.

The cover by itself is scary in term that they put a black strip on Limbaugh mouth as a symbol of wanting to silence him. The left wing socialists are pushing the country not only to socialism but to toward a dictatorship. They must be defeated.

The world according to Fareed Zakaria, who says he's a “centrist & moderate.”

Fareed Zakaria is an ultra progressive. A far left wacko who sees the news as a place for social and political activism, not simple reporting of facts. The man is clueless on economics and defense and even much of what he writes regards terrorism or Pakistan etc is simply put, trash. Well written trash, but nonetheless trash which some high brow 'wantabees' read and then regurgitate as the gospel when wanting to sound intellectual or informed. Newsweek has turned into a print form of the Daily Kos or Democratic Underground. It's a joke that no one takes seriously anymore, except those that buy this publication because it tells them what they want to hear.

David Frum left National Review in January, and has a new website .

Participating in the Alinsky freeze-the-target strategy, to distract from Obama's economic fiasco, is how we are going to build a conservatism that can win again.

Both Newsweek and Time currently have roughly the thicknesses of comic books and the qualty of the paper has noticeably declined. No adds to speak of. Awww — too bad!

Yes they do but, it has 40% fewer pages. If their advertising has remained constant, then there is a lot less content. But, my guess is their advertising is down like many in the DBM, the content remains constant as well, trash....

The louder they scream about Rush the more loudly I support him and show these libs for what they are. They want so much for this to make us all crawl off in shame. Who are they but demented anti-American creeps who have to be dealt with the same way they deal with us.

Instead of a National Tea Party we need to have a National MSM Paper Shredding Party and release the newspaper/zines shreds all at once
from the rooftops.

“There’s the perfect culmination of the outlook Rush Limbaugh has taught his fans and followers”

He doesn’t teach us anything, he just put words to what we already know.

Saw this mentioned this morning on Stephanapolous’ show. The news shows are pimping for Obama/Rahm by keeping this “issue” in the forefront. I guess it beats talking about the tanking market.
