Why not just show the ORIGINAL birth certificate?
Films are fiction.

That will be cited here as the ultimate proof by the likes of Michelle Michelle and incurious (not their real names.)

“place where it is conjectured...” Indeed it is conjectured, and only conjectured—by those who don’t want to see the truth.

Sure, that paragon of exacting research, a film, will settle the case. I think we’ll have another inconvenient truth on our hands. In more ways than one.

Doesn’t Kenya have a film industry? I am anxiously awaiting a movie about the birth of their national hero!

I guess it cost too much to do it on location in Kogelo, Kenya.

This is how history is skewed and re-written. Where do historians go to write about history? Letters, diaries, newspapers and movies.
Once it's written, a historian, wishing to spin the BO story, can include and exclude any data he wishes. Enought historians write essentially the same thing and, voila! Into the history books it goes as fact.
If you plan things by looking forward, as these "movie" makers obviously are, you can help write the history of today as it will appear to those in the future.

This is going to be historical fiction, in other words? What purpose does a character playing a made-up nurse, who was passed over for promotion, add to anything?
This is just plain weird.
