That's a personality call I think. I believe he will have to, as enough dem house members see their defeat coming (or after it in 2010).
If he doesn't moderate/compromise/stop, then he'll have revolt in his party. He can still continue on in a hardheaded tyrannical style. He may well do that. I think we'll find out soon.
Fair enough, but it remains to be seen if the Dems in congress would revolt. The Blue Dogs, almost certainly, but the rest of them, we’ll see soon enough as you said.
