Ask Daley and Melton of Harvard who have been creating embryos for destruction to harvest the parts.

the stem cells they generate are embryo-like..plus they do it with private funding.

You must explain what you mean by “embryo-like.” They create and cull for “disease specific” embryos. Wait 5 to 14 days and harvest the inner cell mass where the embryonic stem cells are are busy creating all the cells in a body. A body that dies, of course.

However, my point was that there is no ban and never has been. As you say, Daley, Melton, ACT and even Houston researchers at the University of Texas Brown Foundation Institute of Molecular Medicine for the Prevention of Human Diseases, private funds are used to carry on embryo destruction and stem cell research. In Houston alone, well over $250 million has been donated to the IMM for stem cell research center.
