I may have mistakenly thought you were calling the Telegraph a tabloid.

As to the lack of named sources -- in the 4+ years I've been here most of the hit pieces on President Bush never named sources and these pieces were in the NYSlimes, WaComPost, Time, NewsweAk et al, along with many broadcast smears. It never seemed to be an issue then. (Perhaps for you, but not for many here.)

My very simple point was that it should always be an issue in a forum where the members fancy themselves as better informed and more intelligent than the masses. Who could have guessed that I was so badly mistaken.
