President Obama traveled to Columbus, Ohio, on Friday to hail the swearing-in of 25 new police officers who had been told after their training that the city did not have enough money to hire them.
I heard on the radio this morning that the money provided was enough to pay the new officer's salaries for one year.
So, where will these officers work next year?

So, where will these officers work next year? The city is hoping that attrition will cover it. It might. The force has about 1800 officers. Not hard to see 25 retirements on the horizon.
