We told you that Mark Bogetich, a Republican "political vulnerability researcher," had requested a variety of information about the Department of Public Health's new "Healthy Penis" campaign.
He wouldn't say why, but it could be used someday against Mayor Gavin Newsom in his run for governor. After all, health staffers walking around in giant penis costumes to promote syphillis testing might not play well in certain parts of the state.

Hard to believe, but here they are.
That’s probably the right answer. I didn’t used to care about the gays and then some friends took us to SF and we went three blocks down that street and then turned around and went back to Market. I actually saw two men doing in on the back of a car and then I saw a few other things that I really wish I could unsee. No one can tell me that those people are “normal” after that.
This is what the dark ages were like.
