I don’t know why I waited so long to buy groceries at WalMart. Incredible savings.

Well hell yes!
I’ve been stimulated to shop for another weapon, buy more ammunition, more freeze dried food, more alarm systems, a safe, on and on to deal with what’s coming.

I agree. Wal Mart had (emphasis on had) a number of boxes of 12 gauge 00 buckshot in 3 inch magnums.

There goes the rent money.

We’ve been buying groceries at Wal-Mart for years (except meat and produce). I went into Price Chopper the other day to grab a few things and was shocked at the prices—so much more expensive than Wal-Mart.

We don’t have Wally Superstores here because the unions fought them off thru the local zoning board.

>>>helped by strong demand for electronics.

I wonder if this is related in part to the digital TV transition that may have caused an uptick in TV sales.

Exactly. We've shopping for groceries there for years now. The savings beat the local supermarkets by a mile. We shop around for our meat though, and still hit the local markets for their weekly specials.
