The movie is not for kids, but its defintely marketed that way.

Why would an R-rated movie be marketed for kids? Kids can't even get in without parents taking them, and kids who have parents willing to take them to R-rated movies have much bigger problems than "Watchmen".

The only commercials I've seen for "Watchmen" have been during the 9-11 prime time slot - not during the kids hour.

I am more worried about the PPV and DVD than the actual theatrical showings

I went to see “My Bloody Valentine 3D” (gory 80s-style horror flick, albeit cheesy as hell) and couldn’t believe how many people brought their kids. You would have thought it was Jonas Brothers 3D.
