It is heartening that I’m not alone in blaming Bush, the RINOs and the demrats for the mess we’re in today.

For a while there it seemed like I was voice in the wilderness. Despite a WOT that has gone on way too long, despite Bush’s pro-illegal alien stand, despite out-of-control gov’t spending, despite being a punching bag for the dems, despite his unbounded embracement of global warming, despite, despite, despite—I continue to be amazed at Pubbies who idolize former president “W”.

In the end, the only thing he may have gotten right was his USSC picks. But, IMO, they have not really been tested yet. I suspect the real test will be the challenge to The Marxist Onada’s eligibility for the presidency. If they don’t take that one on then we will know Bush even screwed that up.

Hey, I think he’s a nice man without any taint of political corruption. I think he believed in the globilization nonesense and he truly believed that making instant citizens out of a bunch of illegals—most of whom eshewed citizenship in the first place—was somehow good for Americans. He may even have been persuaded that global warming—if it really is happening—is somehow manmade.

We all hoped that Bush II had learned from his father’s mistakes. But he went right down the same road. The more I think about it, I’m convinced that both Bush’s were demrat stealth presidents. Certainly what they actually did in office would indicate they favored demrat socialist policies rather than conservative principles. In retrospect, I do not even give Bush credit for doing anything more than any president would have done in the aftermath of 9/11. And what was with Bush I’s relationship, after he left office, with the Clintoon? I remember them appearing in some ads for one cause or another.

RE “For a while there it seemed like I was voice in the wilderness.

I am with you as are many other Freepers.

I was a solid believer early on but by the 2006 election disaster I woke up.
For a long time we were told, “We have to repeat this story, if you don't you are helping the democrats”. But we knew the lame talking points were not selling and couldnt sell. Now with two election disasters resulting, continuing the lie is counter-productive,

Certain talk radio hosts built up this “Warrior Prince” fantasy that still remains in a number of brainwashed believers. I got bad news for them. Bush worked with democrats to destroy the economy and the Leading Military power. Bush is as responsible as them. That fact that YOU think he had GOOD motives and democrats bad motives (as Levin says) only means something to YOU! Maybe democrats really believe socialism is good for us like Bush thought destroying capitalism was required to save capitalism.
